The Humanity Bureau (2017)

The creators of the film take their audience to the distant 2030. The times when the US was not the easiest state of affairs for the government. They found themselves in a serious economic trap, and that's all because they were brought to such an outcome by endless wars, global warming, as well as the crisis. This caused great unrest, from which such a precarious situation led the government to a very tough solution to this problem.

That is why a special purpose bureau was organized, which was supposed to be engaged in sending to the colony those citizens who were useless to the state. This place was called “New Eden". This colony was represented by the government as a place of temporary residence until the country gets back on its feet. However, it was a big lie, because “New Eden” is a death camp. This information reaches Noah Cross, who was one of the agents who sent people to this death. So, they were going to send a young mother and child there, but Noah decides to take them to Canada.
