Causeway (2022)

Linsey has been working in the US Army Corps of Engineers for a long time. The young woman's unit is stationed in Afghanistan. One day, the car in which the girl was traveling was blown up by a mine. The main character, who was injured, is undergoing a rehabilitation course, after which she returns home to New Orleans.

Linsey managed to restore her physical condition, however, despite the efforts of highly qualified specialists, she cannot cope with the psychological trauma in any way. Plunged into a deep depression, the former serviceman was able to get out of it with great difficulty. She gets a job as a cleaner in the pool. Soon Lin meets a good-natured mechanic guy. James helped an attractive, sad stranger fix a broken car. In a short time, a sincere sympathy broke out between people who were completely different in character, able to help both overcome difficulties.
