Beneath Us (2019)

In a small town located near the state border between the United States of America and Mexico, every day a large number of illegal immigrants try to cross the forbidden line in search of a better life. Mexicans move to the United States in a variety of, sometimes unusual ways. Periodically, there are cases when people disappear without a trace, without reaching their destination.

One day, four comrades, dreaming of earning money in a neighboring country, get into a car of strangers, and soon find themselves in a luxurious estate owned by a wealthy married couple. Ben and Lisa Rhodes promise to pay generously for the work of four friends. Contrary to expectations, the main characters find themselves in a very difficult situation. A rich family demanded physically strong guys to work around the clock, and if they refused to work, the spouses threatened to use weapons. The hostages understand that there is nowhere to wait for help...
