A PDP Youth leader Mr Francis Moses Peter has applauded the performance of the Transition Committee Chairman of Itu Local Government Area; Mrs Elsie Esara for repositioning of the Markets in Itu local government area.
He made the remark when Executives of Itu Local Government markets task force paid a solidarity visit to the Chairman today.
He told the Chairman that over 180 people are feeding from the repositioning programme of the markets by the Transition Committee of Mrs Elsie Esara.
“Over 180 people are feeding from the repositioning of the market in Itu local government area, before now it was 2 people that were eating, erecting personal storey buildings” he said.
Also speaking the Chairman of Edehe task force committee and PDP Youth leader, Ubong Moses thanked the Transition Committee Chairman for re-investing revenue gotten from the market in the market by building a befitting market office.
” We thank you for the building of a befitting market office and a water drainage in our market, it is something people could not do in many years but the special grace of God you have done it in this short period of time”
He also encouraged the Transition Committee not to be deterred with the recent attack on her, he said the attack on her is because she has performed creditably and become envious of some people.
Others who spoke glowingly of the Transition Committee Chairman were Emmanuel Tom Ward 9 Chairman,
Kufre Peter Ward 6 Elder, Clement Okon and other members of the task force committee.
Responding the Transition Committee Chairman thanked the group for the show of love and urged the group to continue to support the government of Governor Udom Emmanuel which she said meant well for the people of the state.
” I thank you for this visit, I urge you all to continue to support the administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel, he is sincere with all his industrialisation agenda and infrastructural policies in the state”
