Photos: See How Children Bury Dad In A Golden Shoe Casket

A popular artiste in Akwa Ibom, known as Teacher Iteh was buried in a shoe-like casket on Saturday, November 28, 2015.

The burial which held in Ibesikpo LGA had lots of people in attendance. According to reports, two of his sons who are graduates of Fine Arts made the casket. See more photos after the cut:

  1. When there is no law anything goes. In a society of laws, there would be prescriptions for caskets and the disposal of the dead. Such law would not seek to make a statement but to control public health knowing that how we handle the dead may affect public health. In an illiterate society with no law, how dead bodies are buried becomes a statement from egoistic individuals. Cry the beloved country.
